1/2 Hizb 45

۞ (God will command the angels), "Gather together the unjust, their spouses, and what they had worshipped 22 instead of God, and lead them all onto the way to the blazing fire, 23 “And stop them they are to be questioned.” 24 "Why help you not one another?" 25 Nay, but this day they make full submission. 26 And they will turn to one another, and question one another. 27 These say, 'Why, you of old would come to us from the right hand.' 28 They shall say: Nay, you (yourselves) were not believers; 29 we had no authority over you; no, you were an insolent people. 30 But now our Lord's word has come true against us: truly, we are bound to taste [the punishment]. 31 "So we led you astray because we were ourselves astray." 32 And verily, on that Day they all will share in their common suffering. 33 Verily, thus shall We deal with all who were lost in sin: 34 They were the ones, who on being told, "God is only One," become puffed-up with pride 35 And said: Shall we forsake our gods for a mad poet? 36 (They say so although) he brought the Truth and confirmed the veracity of the Messengers. 37 You shall certainly taste the painful punishment: 38 Ye are requited naught save what ye did - 39 Save the chosen slaves of Allah (faithful, obedient, true believers of Islamic Monotheism). 40 shall have a known provision -- 41 and fruits while they are honored. 42 In the Gardens of delight (Paradise), 43 sitting face to face upon couches, 44 a goblet from a spring shall be passed round to them 45 White, delicious for the drinkers. 46 There will neither be any harm in it for their body nor will it intoxicate their mind. 47 And with them shall be those who restrain the eyes, having beautiful eyes; 48 who are as chaste as sheltered eggs. 49 Then they will turn to one another and question one another. 50 A speaker from among them shall say: Surely I had a comrade of mine, 51 who used to ask, 'Do you really believe that 52 [that] after we have died and become mere dust and bones we shall, forsooth, be brought to judgment?"' 53 He will say, "Would you [care to] look?" 54 He therefore looked down and saw him amidst the blazing fire. 55 He will say to his friend in hell, "By God, you almost destroyed me. 56 "Had it not been for the Grace of my Lord, I should certainly have been among those brought (there)! 57 "Is it (the case) that we shall not die, 58 [again,] beyond our previous death, and that we shall never [again] be made to suffer? 59 “This is, most certainly, the supreme success.” 60 For the like of this let the workers work. 61 Is this a better hospitality or the tree of AzZakkum! 62 Truly We have made it (as) a trail for the Zalimun (polytheists, disbelievers, wrong-doers, etc.). 63 It is a tree that grows in the nethermost part of Hell. 64 The shoots of its fruit-stalks are like the heads of devils: 65 Truly, they will eat thereof and fill their bellies therewith. 66 then on top of it they have a brew of boiling water, 67 then their return is unto Hell. 68 They had found their fathers astray, 69 and they are running in their footsteps. 70 So had many an earlier people gone astray, 71 And verily We sent among them warners. 72 Then see what was the end of those who were admonished (but heeded not),- 73 Only Our sincere servants were saved. 74
