The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

WOE TO EVERY slanderer, back-biter, 1 Who has gathered wealth and counted it, 2 Thinking that his wealth would make him last for ever! 3 No indeed; he shall be thrust into the Crusher; 4 And what can make you know what is the Crusher? 5 Fire of Allah, Kindled, 6 Which leapeth up over the hearts (of men). 7 verily, it will close in upon them 8 In pillars stretched forth. 9

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
