The people of Lot denied the messengers 160 When their brother Lot said to them, "Will you not fear Allah? 161 Surely I am a faithful apostle to you; 162 So fear Allah, and obey me. 163 I seek of you no reward. My reward is with none but the Lord of the Universe. 164 What, of all creation will you go to (fornicate with) the males, 165 And leave what your Lord has created for you of your wives? Nay, you are a people exceeding limits. 166 They said, "If you do not desist, Lot, you will surely be banished." 167 (Lot) said: "I am disgusted with your actions," 168 'My Lord, save me and my people from that they are doing' 169 So We saved him and his whole family 170 except an old woman who stayed behind, 171 Then We destroyed the others. 172 and We sent upon them a rain, an evil rain that fell on those who had been warned. 173 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 174 Verily Your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Most Compassionate. 175
