The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Successful indeed are the believers. 1 those who are humble in their prayer; 2 and who turn away from all that is frivolous, 3 those who pay the zakat; 4 who guard their privates, 5 Except before their mates or those whom their right hands possess, for they surely are not blameable, 6 But whoso craveth beyond that, such are transgressors - 7 who are true to their trusts and their covenants, 8 and those who attend to their prayers; 9 Those are the inheritors 10 Who will inherit Paradise: they will dwell therein (for ever). 11 Verily We created man from a product of wet earth; 12 which was then turned into a living germ and placed in safe depository. 13 then We developed that drop into a clinging form, and We developed that form into a lump of flesh, and We developed that lump into bones, and clothed the bones with flesh. Then We brought him into being as a new creation, glory be to God, the best of creators, 14 Then after that you shall surely die, 15 Then verily on the Day of Judgment ye shall be raised up. 16 We made several highways one over the other above you. We are not neglectful of creation. 17 We sent down water from the sky in right measure, and caused it to stay in the earth, and We have the power to cause it to vanish (in the manner We please). 18 Then We brought forth for you therewith gardens of date-palm and vines; for you therein are fruits many, and thereof ye eat. 19 also a tree growing on Mount Sinai which produces oil and a condiment for those who eat it. 20 And Verily! In the cattle there is indeed a lesson for you. We give you to drink (milk) of that which is in their bellies. And there are, in them, numerous (other) benefits for you, and of them you eat. 21 And on them, and on ships you are carried. 22
