The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 who determines the nature [of all that exists], and guided it accordingly; 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 We shall make thee read (O Muhammad) so that thou shalt not forget 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 We shall take you slowly towards ease. 8 Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 But it will be avoided by the wretched, 11 who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success, 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
