The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the heaven with its impregnable castles; 1 By the promised Day (of Judgment); 2 By one that witnesses, and the subject of the witness;- 3 The companions of the pit were killed 4 by a burning fire 5 When they sat by it, 6 And they were witnesses of what they did with the believers. 7 They had nothing against them, except that they believed in Allah, the All-Mighty, Worthy of all Praise! 8 To Him only belongs the kingship of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is a Witness over all things. 9 Verily, as for those who persecute believing men and believing women, and thereafter do not repent, hell's suffering awaits them: yea, suffering through fire awaits them! 10 But those who believe and do good deeds shall be rewarded with gardens watered by flowing rivers. That is the supreme triumph. 11 Stern indeed is your Lord's punishment. 12 It is He who originates and repeats. 13 And He only is the Oft Forgiving, the Beloved of His bondmen. 14 the Owner of the Throne, the Glorious One, 15 a sovereign doer of whatever He wills. 16 Hast thou received the story of the hosts, 17 (The armies of) Firaun and the tribe of Thamud. 18 But they who disbelieve are in [persistent] denial, 19 But God surrounds them from all sides. 20 It is indeed a glorious Quran, 21 Inscribed in a tablet preserved. 22
