Now surely, unto Pharaoh's folk [too] came such warnings; 41 They rejected each one of Our signs. So We seized them with the grip of one mighty and powerful. 42 Are your disbelievers better than those [former ones], or have you immunity in the scripture? 43 Or do they say: We are a host allied together to help each other? 44 The hosts will all be routed and will turn and flee. 45 Surely the Hour will be the moment of their promise, and that moment will be calamitous and distressing. 46 for, behold, those who are lost in sin [will at that time come to know that it is they who] were sunk in error and folly! 47 The Day they will be dragged in the Fire on their faces (it will be said to them): "Taste you the touch of Hell!" 48 BEHOLD, everything have We created in due measure and proportion; 49 Our commandment is but one word, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 We have destroyed the likes of you in the past: So is there any one who will be warned? 51 All their deeds are recorded in the Scrolls; 52 And everything, small and big is written (in Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz already beforehand i.e. before it befalls, or is done by its doer) (See the Quran V. 57:22). 53 [Hence, too,] behold, the God-conscious will find themselves in [a paradise of] gardens and running waters, 54 honorably seated in the presence of the All-dominant King. 55
