The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the morning brightness 1 And by oath of the night when it covers, 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you, nor has He become displeased, 3 The Last shall be better for you than the First. 4 And indeed, in time will thy Sustainer grant thee [what thy heart desires,] and thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and protect (thee)? 6 Did He not find thee erring, and guide thee? 7 And He found thee in need, and made thee independent. 8 So do not oppress the orphan, 9 and chide not him who asks, 10 But the bounty of the Lord - rehearse and proclaim! 11
