Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

And certainly We have made strongholds in the heaven and We have made it fair seeming to the beholders. 16 We have protected them from every condemned devil, 17 Save him who stealeth the hearing, and them doth a clear flame pursue. 18 And the earth We have spread out (like a carpet); set thereon mountains firm and immovable; and produced therein all kinds of things in due balance. 19 We have provided on it sustenance for you, and for those you cannot provide. 20 And there is not a thing the treasure* of which is not with Us; and We do not send it down except by a known measure. (* The power to create it.) 21 And We send the winds fertilizing, then send down water from the cloud so We give it to you to drink of, nor is it you who store it up. 22 It is indeed We Who grant life and cause death and it is We who shall be the sole Inheritors of all. 23 We know the people who lived before you and those who will come into existence after you. 24 And verily, your Lord will gather them together. Truly, He is All-Wise, All-Knowing. 25
