Do you not see that We have sent devils upon the unbelievers who greatly incite them (to oppose the Truth)? 83 Hence, be not in haste [to call down God's punishment] upon them: for We but number the number of their days. 84 The Day We shall gather the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) unto the Most Beneficent (Allah), like a delegate (presented before a king for honour). 85 and drive the evildoers as herds, into Gehenna 86 None will have [power of] intercession except he who had taken from the Most Merciful a covenant. 87 And the disbelievers said, “The Most Gracious has chosen an offspring.” 88 You have done an atrocious thing. 89 Thereby the heavens are nearly torn and the earth split asunder, and mountains fall crashing down 90 That they ascribe a son (or offspring or children) to the Most Beneficent (Allah). 91 and it behoves not the All-merciful to take a son. 92 There is none in the heavens and the earth but cometh unto the Beneficent as a slave. 93 He knows their number and has counted each one of them. 94 And all of them are coming to Him on the Day of Resurrection alone. 95 Lo! those who believe and do good works, the Beneficent will appoint for them love. 96 And We make (this Scripture) easy in thy tongue, (O Muhammad) only that thou mayst bear good tidings therewith unto those who ward off (evil), and warn therewith the froward folk. 97 And how many a generation have We destroyed before them! Perceivest thou of them anyone or hear of them a whisper? 98
