Al-Waaqe'ah 2 of 3
These (people of the right hand) consist of many from the ancient 39 and a good many of later times. 40 The Companions of the Left Hand,- what will be the Companions of the Left Hand? 41 (They will be) in the midst of a Fierce Blast of Fire and in Boiling Water, 42 and the shadows of black smoke 43 Neither cool nor honorable. 44 and before that they lived at ease, 45 And were persisting in great sin (joining partners in worship along with Allah, committing murders and other crimes, etc.) 46 And they were wont to say: when we have died and become dust and bones, shall we, then, verily be raised? 47 And also our forefathers?" 48 Say: The first and the last, 49 shall all be brought together on an appointed Day. 50 Then lo! ye, the erring, the deniers, 51 "Ye will surely taste of the Tree of Zaqqum. 52 filling your bellies, with it 53 And thereon ye will drink of boiling water, 54 "Indeed ye shall drink like diseased camels raging with thirst!" 55 This shall be their entertainment on the Day of Judgement. 56 It is We who have created you. Why then did you not testify to the Truth? 57 So what is your opinion regarding the semen you discharge? 58 Do you create a child out of it, or are We its creators? 59 We have decreed among you Death; We shall not be outstripped; 60 To transfigure you and create you in (forms) that you know not. 61 And verily ye know the first creation. Why, then, do ye not reflect? 62 Behold! that which ye sow. 63 Is it you that cause it to grow, or are We the causers of growth? 64 Were it Our Will, We could crumble it to dry powder, and ye would be left in wonderment, 65 “We have been penalised; 66 Rather, we have been prevented' 67 Tell Me! The water that you drink. 68 Is it you who brought it down from the clouds, or is it We who bring it down? 69 If We willed We verily could make it bitter. Why then, give ye not thanks? 70 Have you thought about the fire you kindle? 71 Is it you that produce the trees for it, or are We the producers? 72 We have made it a reminder, and a blessing to the traveler. 73 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 74

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
