THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138
