Surely, the cautious shall have Gardens of Bliss with their Lord. 34 What! shall We then make (that is, treat) those who submit as the guilty? 35 What aileth you? How foolishly ye judge! 36 Or have you a book wherein you read, 37 That you shall have all that you choose? 38 Or you have oaths from Us, reaching to the Day of Resurrection that yours will be what you judge. 39 Ask them which of them is able to vouch for this! 40 Or have they other gods? Then let them bring their other gods if they are truthful 41 On the day when it befalleth in earnest, and they are ordered to prostrate themselves but are not able, 42 Their eyes will be cast down,- ignominy will cover them; seeing that they had been summoned aforetime to bow in adoration, while they were whole, (and had refused). 43 So leave to Me those who reject this message. We shall lead them step by step to their ruin, in ways beyond their ken. 44 I shall give them respite, however, My plan is so strong that they will never be able to escape from it. 45 Or askest thou them for a wage, and so they are weighed down with debt? 46 Is the unseen within their grasp so that they write it down? 47 So wait patiently for the judgment of your Lord, and be not like the companion of the fish, when he cried while he was in distress. 48 Were it not for his Lord’s favour that reached him, he would have surely been cast onto the desolate land, reproached. 49 But his Lord chose him for His own and made him one of the righteous. 50 And the Unbelievers would almost trip thee up with their eyes when they hear the Message; and they say: "Surely he is possessed!" 51 But it is nothing other than a Reminder for all the worlds. 52
