Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the (steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 And the producers of sparks [when] striking 2 Then those charging in the morning 3 raising a trail of dust, 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 To this he himself shall bear witness. 7 And is intractable in his love of worldly goods. 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 and all that is in the hearts is made public, 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
