And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
