The Embryo (Al-Alaq)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Read! In the name of your Lord, who created: 1 He created man from a clot. 2 Read! Your Lord is the Most Bountiful One 3 He Who taught (the use of) the pen,- 4 The One Who taught man all what he did not know. 5 By no means: Verily man exorbitateth. 6 As he bethinkest himself selfsufficient. 7 Lo! unto thy Lord is the return. 8 Seest thou one who forbids- 9 a servant of Ours from prayer? 10 Do you think he is rightly guided, 11 Or had enjoined piety, (it would have been better)? 12 Do you see how he has denied the truth and turned away from it? 13 Does he not know that God sees? 14 Nay, if he desist not, We shall most surely drag him down upon his forehead 15 a lying, sinful forelock. 16 Then let him call upon his henchmen! 17 and We too will call the stern and angry keepers of hell. 18 (Muhammad), never yield to him! Prostrate yourself and try to come closer to God. ۩ 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
