Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

DOOMED are the hands of him of the glowing countence: and doomed is he! 1 Of no avail shall be his wealth, nor what he has acquired. 2 he shall roast at a Flaming Fire, 3 and so too will his wife who (threw thorns and firewood in the Prophet's way). 4 A twisted rope of palm-leaf fibre round her (own) neck! 5

Almighty Allah's Truth.
