The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By oath of the heaven which contains the constellations. 1 and by the promised Day, 2 By the witness and the witnessed! 3 the people of the pit were destroyed 4 [Containing] the fire full of fuel, 5 Behold! they sat over against the (fire), 6 And they, to what they were doing against the believers, were witnesses. 7 They took revenge on them only because they believed in the All-mighty, the Al-laudable, 8 to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. Allah witnesses everything. 9 Those who persecuted the believing men and women and never repented, there is for them the punishment of Gehenna (Hell), and for them the punishment of the burning. 10 But those who believe and do good deeds shall be rewarded with gardens watered by flowing rivers. That is the supreme triumph. 11 Indeed the seizure of your Lord is very severe. 12 Indeed it is He Who initiates and redoes. 13 and He is the Forgiving and Loving One. 14 Owner of the Throne, the Exalted. 15 The Doer of whatever He wants. 16 Has the story reached you of the hosts, 17 Of Fir'aun (Pharaoh) and Thamud? 18 And yet, they who are bent on denying the truth persist in giving it the lie: 19 God encompasses them from all sides. 20 But this is an honored Qur'an 21 Inscribed in a tablet preserved. 22
