The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
The Clatterer! 1 What is the terrible calamity! 2 And what have you understood, what the event that terrifies the hearts is! 3 (It is) a Day whereon men will be like moths scattered about, 4 And the mountains shall become as wool carded, 5 Those whose good deeds will weigh heavier (on the scale) 6 Will be in a life of good pleasure and satisfaction. 7 but he whose scales weigh lighter, 8 the Abyss shall be his home. 9 And what have you understood, what the one that abases is! 10 It is a Fire, intensely hot. 11
