[O MEN! Pay heed to God's messages,] for it is He who has endowed you with hearing, and sight, and minds: [yet] how seldom are you grateful! 78 He it is who has multiplied you on the earth and to Him you shall all be gathered: 79 It is He who gives you life and death, and His the alternation of night and day. Even then you do not understand, 80 Nay, but they say the like of what the men of old said. 81 They say, “Will we, when we die and turn into dust and bones, be raised again?” 82 Our fathers and we have been given such promises before. These are no more than ancient legends." 83 Say: "Whose is the earth and whosoever is therein? If you know!" 84 They will say, "To Allah." Say, "Then will you not remember?" 85 Say, “Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and the Lord of the Tremendous Throne?” 86 They will say: Unto Allah (all that belongeth). Say: Will ye not then keep duty (unto Him)? 87 Say: In Whose hand is the dominion over all things and He protecteth, while against Him there is no protection, if ye have knowledge? 88 They will say, 'God's.' Say: 'How then are you bewitched? 89 We have sent them the truth and they, certainly, are liars. 90 God has not taken to Himself any son, nor is there any god with Him; for then each god would have taken off that he created and some of them would have risen up over others; glory to be God, beyond that they describe, 91 knowing all that is beyond the reach of a created being's perception as well as all that can be witnessed by a creature's senses or mind and hence, sublimely exalted is He above anything to which they may ascribe a share in His divinity! 92
