We did not create heaven and earth and all that is between them in vain. That is the opinion of those who deny the truth. Woe betide those who deny the truth, when they are cast into the Fire -- 27 Should We equate those who do the right with those who spread corruption in the land? Should We make those who are morally integrated equal to those who seek disintegration? 28 (Here is) a Book which We have sent down unto thee, full of blessings, that they may mediate on its Signs, and that men of understanding may receive admonition. 29 We bestowed Solomon on David who was an excellent devotee, for he turned to God in penitence. 30 When they brought fleet-footed chargers in the evening to show him, 31 And he said, "Truly do I love the love of good, with a view to the glory of my Lord,"- until (the sun) was hidden in the veil (of night): 32 Then he said "Bring them (horses) back to me." Then he began to pass his hand over their legs and their necks (till the end of the display). 33 And certainly We tried Sulaiman, and We put on his throne a (mere) body, so he turned (to Allah). 34 He said: my Lord! forgive me, and bestow on me a dominion which no one may obtain beside me: verily Thou! Thou art the Bestower. 35 Then We made the wind subservient to him; it made his command to run gently wherever he desired, 36 as well as all the rebellious forces [that We made to work for him] - every kind of builder and diver 37 And also others bound in fetters. 38 This is Our gift, so bestow thou or withhold, without rendering an account. 39 And he had a near place in Our presence and a fair resort. 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
