The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the earth is shaken with its [final] earthquake 1 and [when] the earth yields up her burdens, 2 And man says, “What has happened to it?” 3 That day it will narrate its annals, 4 Because thy Lord inspireth her. 5 That Day, the people will depart separated [into categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds. 6 Then whosoever hath worked good of an atom's weight shall behold it 7 And whoso doeth ill an atom's weight will see it then. 8
