Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Qaf. I swear by the glorious Quran (that Muhammad is the Apostle of Allah) 1 But they wonder that there has come to them a warner from among themselves, and the disbelievers say, "This is an amazing thing. 2 that after we die and become dust, we shall be brought back to life again. This seems far from reality". 3 Well do We know how the earth consumes their bodies, for with Us is a record unfailing. 4 But they denied the truth when it came to them, so they are in a state of confusion. 5 What, have they never observed the heaven above them, (and seen) how We built and adorned it, leaving no crack? 6 We stretched the earth and placed upon it firm stabilisers and We made every kind of splendid thing to grow upon it 7 as a lesson and a reminder to every penitent worshiper. 8 And We send down from the sky rain charted with blessing, and We produce therewith gardens and Grain for harvests; 9 And the tall palm-trees having spadices closely set one above another, 10 all this as sustenance for Our servants. And thus We do bring the dead land back to life with water. Such shall be the coming forth (of human beings from the earth). 11 Denied before them (i.e. these pagans of Makkah who denied you, O Muhammad SAW) the people of Nuh (Noah), and the dwellers of Rass, and the Thamud, 12 And the tribe of A’ad, and Firaun, and the fellowmen of Lut. 13 And the dwellers of the grove and the people of Tuba; all rejected the apostles, so My threat came to pass. 14 Were We then weary with the first Creation, that they should be in confused doubt about a new Creation? 15
