Al-Anfaal 7 of 10
When the hypocrites and those in whose hearts was disease said: Their religion has deceived them; and whoever trusts in Allah, then surely Allah is Mighty, Wise. 49 If you could only see the infidels as the angels draw away their souls and strike their faces and their backs, (saying): "Taste the torment of burning 50 This is for what your own hands have sent on before, and because Allah is not in the least unjust to the servants; 51 Like Pharaoh's family and those who have gone before them, they disbelieved the signs of Allah. Therefore, Allah seized them in their sinfulness. Mighty is Allah and stern in retribution. 52 This is because Allah would never change His favor that He bestowed upon a nation until they change what is in their hearts. Allah is Hearing, Knowing. 53 [Theirs is] like the custom of the people of Pharaoh and of those before them. They denied the signs of their Lord, so We destroyed them for their sins, and We drowned the people of Pharaoh. And all [of them] were wrongdoers. 54 Verily, the vilest creatures in the sight of God are those who are bent on denying the truth and therefore do not believe. 55 those with whom you have made a covenant, and who break their covenant on every occasion and have no fear [of God]. 56 Wherefore if thou over-takest them in war, disperse thou through them those behind them, that haply they may be admonished. 57 And if you learn of treachery on the part of any people, throw their treaty back at them, so as to be on equal terms, for God does not love the treacherous. 58

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
