Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the forenoon (after sun-rise); 1 and by the night when it darkens, 2 your Lord has not forsaken you, nor is He displeased with you, 3 And verily the latter portion will be better for thee than the former, 4 Your Lord will give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you an orphan, so provided you shelter? 6 And found thee lost on thy way, and guided thee? 7 And He found thee in need, and made thee independent. 8 Do not oppress the orphans 9 and do not chide the one who asks for help; 10 And as for the favor of your Lord, do announce (it). 11

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
