The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ The Event (the Hour or the punishment of disbelievers and polytheists or the Islamic laws or commandments), ordained by Allah will come to pass, so seek not to hasten it. Glorified and Exalted be He above all that they associate as partners with Him. 1 He sends the angels with revelation by His command, to any of His creatures as He please, (saying): "Warn that there is no god but I, so fear Me." 2 He has created the heavens and the earth for just ends: Far is He above having the partners they ascribe to Him! 3 He hath created man from a drop, and Lo! he is a disputer open. 4 And the grazing livestock He has created for you; in them is warmth and [numerous] benefits, and from them you eat. 5 And for you there is beauty in them as ye drive them at eventide and as ye drive them out to pasture. 6 And they carry your loads to a land you could not have reached except with difficulty to yourselves. Indeed, your Lord is Kind and Merciful. 7 And [it is He who creates] horses and mules and asses for you to ride, as well as for [their] beauty: and He will yet create things of which [today] you have no knowledge. 8 And upon Allah is the direction of the [right] way, and among the various paths are those deviating. And if He willed, He could have guided you all. 9
