And when the envoys came to the family of Lot, 61 He said: "Ye appear to be uncommon folk." 62 They said: Nay, but we bring thee that concerning which they keep disputing, 63 And we have come to you with truth, and indeed, we are truthful. 64 So set out with your family in a watch of the night, and keep yourself behind them, and no one of you may turn around, and keep going ahead as you have been commanded." 65 And We made known to him this decree that the wrongdoers were to be utterly cut off in the morning. 66 The people of the city came to him rejoicing. 67 He said: Surely these are my guests, therefore do not disgrace me, 68 "And do not disgrace me. Have some fear of God." 69 They said: "Did we not forbid thee (to speak) for all and sundry?" 70 [Lout (Lot)] said: "These (the girls of the nation) are my daughters (to marry lawfully), if you must act (so)." 71 By your life! In their drunkenness they were truly blind. 72 and thereupon the blast [of Our punishment] overtook them at sunrise. 73 and turned the land upside down, and rained down stones of baked clay. 74 Verily, in all this there are messages indeed for those who can read the signs: 75 it is still there on the highway -- 76 Indeed in this are signs for the believers. 77 And the people of Aykah were also wrong-doers. 78 So We took vengeance on them. And verily both are on a high-road open. 79

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
