As for the God-fearing, they shall be amid gardens and springs. 45 (Their greeting will be): "Enter ye here in peace and security." 46 And We shall purge their breasts of all traces of rancour; and they shall be seated on couches facing one another as brothers. 47 No weariness will come upon them, nor will they be sent away from there. 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I alone am the Forgiving, the Merciful One, 49 And that My Torment is indeed the most painful torment. 50 And tell them about the guests (the angels) of Ibrahim (Abraham). 51 When they entered unto him, and said: Salaman (peace)! [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "Indeed! We are afraid of you." 52 'Do not be afraid' they answered. 'We come to give you glad tidings of a knowledgeable child' 53 [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "Do you give me glad tidings (of a son) when old age has overtaken me? Of what then is your news?" 54 They said: "The good tiding we give you is of truth. Do not, therefore, be of those who despair." 55 He replied: 'And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord, except those that are astray? 56 He added: "And what [else] may you have in view, O you [heavenly] messengers?" 57 They said, "Indeed, we have been sent to a people of criminals, 58 “Except the family of Lut; we shall rescue all of them.” 59 all together, excepting his wife -- we have decreed, she shall surely be of those that tarry.' 60
