And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
