The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 who created and shaped, 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget. 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
