Prostration

Did you (O Muhammad SAW) observe him who turned away (from Islam). 33 and gives so little [of himself for the good of his soul,] and so grudgingly? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the unseen, thus, he sees (all things)? 35 Has not he been informed of the contents of the Book of Moses 36 And of Abraham who fulfilled his engagements?- 37 That no burdened person (with sins) shall bear the burden (sins) of another. 38 And that man shall have nothing but what he strives for- 39 He will certainly see the result of his labor 40 Then shall he be rewarded for it with the fullest reward- 41 And that to your Lord is your returning; 42 That it is He who makes you happy and morose, 43 And that it is He (Allah) Who causes death and gives life; 44 And that He created pairs, the male and the female 45 From a drop of semen when emitted; 46 and that it is for Him to grant the second life, 47 And that it is He (Allah) Who gives much or a little (or gives wealth and contentment), 48 And that He only is the Lord of the star Sirius? 49 It was He who totally destroyed the former 'Ad 50 And the Thamud nor gave them a lease of perpetual life. 51 and before them the people of Noah who were even more unjust and insolent; 52 and He overthrew the subverted cities [of Sodom and Gomorrah] 53 So there covered them that which covered. 54 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 55 This is a (Prophet) like that of the ancient warners (Prophets). 56 The threatened Hour is nigh. 57 No one besides God can rescue a soul from hardship. 58 Do you, perchance, find this tiding strange? 59 And you laugh and do not weep 60 Indulging in pleasantries? 61 Therefore prostrate for Allah, and worship Him. (Command of Prostration # 12) ۩ 62
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Stars (Al-Najm). Sent down in Mecca after Absoluteness (Al-Ikhlaas) before He Frowned ('Abasa)
