But for him who feareth the standing before his Lord there are two gardens. 46 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 47 Having [spreading] branches. 48 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 49 Therein are two running fountains. 50 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 51 therein of every fruit two kinds -- 52 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 53 Reclining upon thrones that are lined with brocade, with the fruit of both Gardens close enough to be picked from under. 54 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 55 Therein are those of modest gaze, whom neither man nor jinni will have touched before them. 56 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 57 [When you are promised splendours] as though [of] rubies and [of] pearls 58 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 59 The reward of goodness shall be nothing but goodness. 60 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 61 And besides these two other gardens -- 62 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 63 Both [gardens] of the darkest green. 64 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 65 In them (each) will be two Springs pouring forth water in continuous abundance: 66 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 67 With fruits in them, and dates and pomegranates -- 68 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 69 In these [gardens] will be [all] things most excellent and beautiful. 70 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? - 71 [There the blessed will live with their] pure companions sheltered in pavilions. 72 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 73 [companions] whom neither man nor invisible being will have touched ere then. 74 Which, then, of the benefits of Your Lord will ye twain belie? 75 They shall be reclining on green cushions and splendid carpets. 76 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 77 Blessed be the Name of thy Lord, majestic, splendid. 78

(1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
