And, indeed We gave Our Grace to Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron). 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
