The men of the Thicket cried lies to the Envoys 176 when their brother Shu'ayb said unto them: "Will you not be conscious of God? 177 Surely I am a faithful apostle to you; 178 So fear Allah and obey me. 179 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 180 ۞ Give full measure and do not be of those who cause loss. 181 Weigh on an even balance. 182 and do not deprive people of what is rightfully theirs; and do not act wickedly on earth by spreading corruption, 183 “And fear Him Who created you and the earlier creations.” 184 They said, “You are under a magic spell.” 185 thou art naught but a mortal, like us; indeed, we think that thou art one of the liars. 186 So cause a fragment of the sky to fall on us, if you are truthful." 187 Answered [Shu'ayb]: "My Sustainer knows fully well what you are doing." 188 But they cried him lies; then there seized them the chastisement of the Day of Shadow; assuredly it was the chastisement of a dreadful day. 189 Verily in this was a sign, but most of them do not believe. 190 Your Lord, He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 191

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
