Blessed be He who has set the constellations in the heaven, and set amongst them a sun, and an illuminating moon. 61 It is He who has made the night and day follow each other for those whom He desires to remember or He desires to be thankful. 62 For, [true] servants of the Most Gracious are [only] they who walk gently on earth, and who, whenever the foolish address them, reply with [words of] peace; 63 and who remember their Sustainer far into the night, prostrating themselves and standing; 64 Who say: "O our Lord, avert from us the torment of Hell: Its punishment is surely continuous. 65 it is an evil settling, and an evil residence' 66 And those who when they expend, are neither extravagant nor sparing, and it is a medium in-between. 67 Who do not invoke any god apart from God, who do not take a life which God has forbidden except for a cause that is just, and do not fornicate -- and any one who does so will be punished for the crime, 68 The torment will be doubled to him on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein in disgrace; 69 except the one who may have repented (after those sins) and have believed and done righteous works, for then Allah will change his evil deeds into good deeds, and He is very Forgiving and Merciful. 70 He who repents and does good deeds has truly turned to God. 71 And [know that true servants of God are only] those who never bear witness to what is false, and [who,] whenever they pass by [people engaged in] frivolity, pass on with dignity; 72 and who, whenever they are reminded of their Sustainer's messages, do not throw themselves upon them [as if] deaf and blind; 73 and who pray "O our Sustainer! Grant that our spouses and our offspring be a joy to our eyes, and cause us to be foremost among those who are conscious of Thee!" 74 They will be rewarded the highest position in heaven, the recompense of their patience, and they will be welcomed with honour and greetings of peace. 75 therein to abide: [and] how goodly an abode and [how high] a station! 76 Say (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) “You have no value before My Lord if you do not worship Him; so you have denied – therefore the punishment that remains, will occur.” 77
