The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

The Striking Calamity - 1 What is the striking (Hour)? 2 How will you comprehend what the startling calamity is? -- 3 A Day on which human beings would be like so many scattered moths, 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool, 5 Then as for him whose balances are heavy, 6 Will be in a life of good pleasure and satisfaction. 7 But as for him whose deeds are light on the scales, 8 He will have his home in Hawiyah (pit, i.e. Hell). 9 Would that you knew what hawiya his? 10 (It is) a Fire which is extremely hot. 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
