So did you observe him who turned away? 33 And gave a little and [then] refrained? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the Unseen, and therefore he sees? 35 Or is he not informed with what is in the Pages (Scripture) of Musa (Moses), 36 And of Ibrahim (Abraham) who fulfilled (or conveyed) all that (what Allah ordered him to do or convey), 37 Namely, that no bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another; 38 And that man will not obtain anything except what he strove for? 39 And that his effort will soon be scrutinised? 40 then he shall be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense, 41 And that thy Lord, He is the goal; 42 and that He it is Who causes people to laugh and to cry, 43 And that it is He (Allah) Who causes death and gives life; 44 That He created pairs, male and female, 45 From a drop of liquid, when it is added? 46 And that only upon Him is the next revival? 47 and that it is He who gives riches and causes to hoard, 48 and that He is the Lord of (the star) Sirius, 49 And that He did destroy the Ad of old 50 Thamud, 51 and before them the people of Noah who were even more unjust and insolent; 52 He plunged the villages 53 and caused them to be covered with that which He covered them with. 54 Then which of the Graces of your Lord (O man!) will you doubt. 55 This (Muhammad SAW) is a warner (Messenger) of the (series of) warners (Messengers) of old. 56 The approaching event has come near. 57 None beside Allah can disclose it. 58 Then at this statement do you wonder? 59 and do they laugh instead of weeping, 60 Will you remain proudly heedless? 61 Bow instead in adoration before God and worship Him. ۩ 62
