The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

By (the horses) that charge snorting, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn, 3 and blaze a trail of dust, 4 And penetrate forthwith into the midst (of the foe) en masse;- 5 Lo! man is an ingrate unto his Lord 6 And to that fact he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 Surely, he is ardent in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, 9 And the secrets of the hearts exposed, 10 Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Acquainted. 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
