The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
78 verses, revealed in Medina after Thunder (Al-Ra'ad) before The Human (Al-Insan)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ THE MOST GRACIOUS 1 Taught the Quran. 2 He created the human 3 [And] taught him eloquence. 4 The sun and the moon to a reckoning. 5 the stars and the trees bend in prostration. 6 And the heaven He raised and imposed the balance 7 that you may not transgress in the balance, 8 And observe the weight with equity, and make not deficient the balance. 9 He set down the earth for the creation. 10 There exists all kinds of fruits, palm-trees with sheathed blossoms, 11 And grain chaffed and other food. 12 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 13 He created man of clay like, unto pottery. 14 and He created the jinn from smokeless fire. 15 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 16 Lord of the two Easts, Lord of the two Wests. 17 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? 18 He unleashed the two seas so that they merge together, 19 and between them is a barrier which they do not overpass. 20 Which of the wonders of your Lord will you twain you men and jinn then deny? 21 Pearls and corals come forth from both of them. 22 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 23 And His are the ships reared aloft in the sea like mountains. 24 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 25

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
