To God belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth; on the Day when the Hour comes, those who follow falsehood will be the losers. 27 You will see each community kneeling down; and each community will be summoned to its ledger (of good and evil deeds). You will receive upon that day your recompense for what you had done. 28 This is Our Book that speaks with the truth over you. We have recorded all that you were doing' 29 The Lord will admit the righteously striving, believing people into His mercy. This is certainly a clear victory. 30 But as for those who have disbelieved: 'Were not My signs recited to you, and you waxed proud, and were a sinful people? 31 When it was said: 'The promise of Allah is true, and of the Hour there is no doubt' you replied: 'We do not know what the Hour is, we guess, assuming, and we are by no means certain' 32 The evil of what they had done will become clear to them, and they will be seized by what they had scorned. 33 And [the word] will be spoken: "Today We shall be oblivious of you as you were oblivious of the coming of this your Day [of Judgment]; and so your goal is the fire, and you shall have none to succour you: 34 This, because you took the revelations of Allah (this Quran) in mockery, and the life of the world deceived you. So this Day, they shall not be taken out from there (Hell), nor shall they be Yusta'tabun (i.e. they shall not return to the worldly life, so that they repent to Allah, and beg His Pardon for their sins). 35 So all praise be to Allah, the Lord of the heavens, the Lord of the earth, the Lord of the whole Universe. 36 And His alone is all majesty in the heavens and on earth; and He alone is almighty, truly wise! 37
