The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 We shall take you slowly towards ease. 8 Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, 9 He who fears will mind, 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 Nay! you prefer the life of this world, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
