The dwellers in the wood (of Midian) denied the messengers (of Allah), 176 When Shu'ayb said to them, "Will you not fear Allah? 177 I am a trustworthy Messengers. 178 I ask of you no wage for this; 179 And I ask of you no hire therefor; and my hire is but with the Lord of the worlds. 180 ۞ Give full measure, and be not of those who cause others to lose. 181 And weigh (things) with a right balance, 182 and do not deprive people of what is rightfully theirs; and do not act wickedly on earth by spreading corruption, 183 "And fear Him Who created you and (who created) the generations before (you)" 184 They said: "Surely you are deluded. 185 “You are just a human like us, and indeed we consider you a liar.” 186 So cause to fall upon us fragments of the sky, if you should be of the truthful." 187 (Shu'aib) said: "My Lord knows well what you are doing." 188 They rejected him and then the torment of the gloomy day struck them. It was certainly a great torment. 189 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 190 Your Lord is Majestic and All-merciful. 191
