Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the glorious morning light; 1 And by oath of the night when it covers, 2 your Lord has not forsaken you, nor is He displeased with you, 3 And verily the Hereafter will be better for thee than the present. 4 And verily thy Lord will give unto thee so that thou wilt be content. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and give thee shelter (and care)? 6 And He found you unaware (of the Quran, its legal laws, and Prophethood, etc.) and guided you? 7 And He found you poor and made [you] self-sufficient. 8 Therefore, treat not the orphan with oppression, 9 And as to the beggar, chide thou him not. 10 But as for the favor of your Lord, report [it]. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
