۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities gatherers 53 Verily these are but a band small. 54 they have enraged us, 55 and we are a host on our guard.' 56 So We expelled them from gardens and fountains, 57 And treasures and goodly dwellings, 58 and We made the Children of Israel inheritors of these bounties. 59 Pharaoh and his people pursued them at sunrise, 60 So when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa cried out: Most surely we are being overtaken. 61 Said he, 'No indeed; surely my Lord is with me; He will guide me.' 62 Then We revealed to Moses, (commanding him): "Strike the sea with your rod." Thereupon the sea split up, and then each became like the mass of a huge mount. 63 And We advanced thereto the pursuers. 64 and We delivered Moses and his companions, all of them, 65 and then We caused the others to drown. 66 Indeed in this is surely a sign, and most of them were not Muslims. 67 Verily your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 68
