The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
The Clatterer! 1 What is the striking (Hour)? 2 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Calamity is! 3 A day wherein mankind will be as thickly-scattered moths 4 and the mountains shall be like fluffs of carded wool in varying colours. 5 Then he whose deeds shall weigh heavier in the scale 6 will live a pleasant life, 7 But as for him whose scales are light, 8 His abode shall be the abyss. 9 And what will explain to thee what this is? 10 A flaming fire! 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
