3/4 Hizb 45

And indeed Nuh (Noah) invoked Us, and We are the Best of those who answer (the request). 75 We delivered him and his household from the great calamity; 76 And his offspring! them We made the survivors. 77 And left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 78 'Peace be upon Noah among all beings!' 79 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 80 Surely he was of Our believing servants. 81 Then We did drown the others. 82 ۞ Abraham was of the same faith: 83 When he came to his Lord with a free heart, 84 [And] when he said to his father and his people, "What do you worship? 85 Is it a falsehood-god beside Allah that ye desire? 86 “So what do you assume regarding the Lord Of The Creation?” (That He will not punish you?) 87 Then he glanced a glance on the stars. 88 And he said, "I am indeed sick (at heart)!" 89 All the people turned away from him 90 Then he slipped unto their gods and said: eat ye not? 91 What is [wrong] with you that you do not speak?" 92 Then he turned upon them, striking them with his right hand, 93 Then came the others to him hastening. 94 He said, 'Do you serve what you hew, 95 while it is Allah Who has created you and all that you make?” 96 They said: Build for him a building and fling him in the red-hotfire. 97 They had contrived an evil plan against him, but We abased them all. 98 And he said (after his rescue from the fire): "Verily, I am going to my Lord. He will guide me!" 99 Lord, grant me a righteous son." 100 So We gave him the good news of a boy ready to suffer and forbear. 101 And when he became capable of working with him, Ibrahim said, “O my son, I dreamt that I am sacrificing you therefore now consider what is your opinion”; he said, “O my father! Do what you are commanded! Allah willing, you will soon find me patiently enduring!” 102 Then, when they had both surrendered (to Allah), and he had flung him down upon his face, 103 We called to him, "Abraham, 104 you have fulfilled the dream." It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good, 105 for, behold, all this was indeed a trial, clear in itself. 106 Then We ransomed him with a tremendous victim. 107 And We left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 108 'Peace be upon Abraham' 109 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 110 truly, he was one of Our faithful servants. 111 And [in time] We gave him the glad tiding of Isaac, [who, too, would be] a prophet, one of the righteous; 112 We blessed him and Isaac: but of their progeny are (some) that do right, and (some) that obviously do wrong, to their own souls. 113

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
