Kneeling (Al-Jaatheyah)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Ha Mim. 1 The revelation of this Book is from God, the mighty and all-wise. 2 Surely in the heavens and earth there are signs for the believers; 3 In creating you and spreading all the moving things (on earth) are signs for people firm of faith, 4 And in the alternation of night and day and that which Allah sendeth down of provision from the heaven and thereby quickeneth the earth after the death thereof and the turning about of the winds, are signs unto a people who reflect. 5 These are the portents of Allah which We recite unto thee (Muhammad) with truth. Then in what fact, after Allah and His portents, will they believe? 6 Woe to every sinful liar 7 Who hears the verses of Allah recited to him, then persists arrogantly as if he had not heard them. So give him tidings of a painful punishment. 8 When he learns something of Our revelations, he derides them: for such there will be humiliating torment. 9 In front of them is Hell: and of no profit to them is anything they may have earned, nor any protectors they may have taken to themselves besides Allah: for them is a tremendous Penalty. 10 This is guidance. Those who deny the revelations of their Lord will suffer a dreadful doom. 11
