Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
