The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Woe to every fault-finding backbiter; 1 who amasses wealth, counting it over, 2 He thinketh that his wealth will render him immortal. 3 Never! He will certainly be thrown into the Crushing One. 4 And what have you understood what the Crushing One is! 5 It is a Fire kindled by God. 6 Which will climb on to the hearts. 7 Indeed, Hellfire will be closed down upon them 8 In extended columns. 9
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
