Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 (Call to mind) when We delivered him and all his kinsfolk, 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
